Abrasan Crossroad is a central hub in Tabriz, at the intersection of Azadi Highway (south), Haft Tir Boulevard (north), and Imam Khomeini Street (east-west). It's surrounded by shopping centers like Burj Bloor, Eskan, Borj Sefid, and hotels, with remnants of old factories nearby. Imam Khomeini Street (formerly Pahlavi) is Tabriz's first major street, stretching from Tehran Gate in the east to Railway Square in the west. It was the city's first asphalted road, once called Qir Qom or Bash Khiavan, and hosts many marches between Shahnaz and Abrasan intersections.
