Exploring Damascus: Syria's Historic Capital Post-War

Discover Damascus, Syria's capital, on my recent trip. One of the most beautiful cities I've seen, it offers an endless tapestry of history and culture spanning centuries. Getting lost in its streets was the highlight of the journey. The war impacted it less than other areas; monuments are excellently preserved, with damage only in the outskirts. I was surprised by the abundance of cafes and restaurants, plus the enthusiasm of young Syrians rolling up their sleeves amid challenging times.
