On our fifth day in Xining, shortly after attending Eid el-Fitr prayers with thousands of worshipers, we visited several Buddhist temples and People's Park. This city offers chances to experience Muslim and Buddhist Chinese living side by side, from halal food to relaxing afternoons in the park. A great trip!
