Amiens, France: Largest Gothic Cathedral & Floating Gardens

Nestled along the Somme River, this northern French city has much to offer. The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Amiens (Notre-Dame d'Amiens) is the largest Gothic cathedral in France by interior volume. We crossed the historic Somme River to the picturesque Saint-Leu neighborhood, explored the unique Hortillonnages floating gardens, and visited the house of renowned author Jules Verne.
