Today I take you around the bustling city of Cairo, Egypt to see how far I can stretch $ 10 USD (PS: I got 10 items!). I actually went to Cairo the first time in 2015 - way back when I was a budget backpacker and travel blogger (before I owned a video camera). I was young and naïve and to be honest, I didn't have a great time here. But now, I'm back with fresh eyes and new perspectives, and let's just say that I'm enjoying Cairo about 10X as much as I did 5 years ago. It's also a very special time to visit because there are (literally) ZERO TOURISTS HERE, so I had the Pyramids of Giza all to myself. As long as you take precautions (wear a mask, avoid physical contact, wash hands frequently), then traveling is possible right now amid this new normal. Have you ever been to Cairo?
