Day 1 of my first solo trip back to Taipei, Taiwan. Visited Wangji Fucheng Zongzi, Syntrend & Guang Hua Digital Plaza, Creative Park, Central Art Park, Ximending, and Xiaonanmen Traditional Soy Bean Jelly & Food. Highly recommend Color Mix Hotel for kind staff (https://bit.ly/colormixhotel). Got EasyCard (TWD400 deposit) and 5-day 4G SIM from Chunghwa Telecom (https://bit.ly/easycardtw). Taiwan's MRT is convenient and safe for solo travelers. Traveled with just a backpack, using hotel laundry. Cooler weather and new spots made it worthwhile.
