Description
Langshan Mountain, or Wolf Hill, rises 106.94 meters high across 18 hectares in Nantong, Jiangsu. It's the most splendid of the five local hills, with the area named after it. The name comes from its wolf-like shape or legendary white wolves that once lived there. A renowned Buddhist site with abundant activities, the hill stands prominent on the Jiangsu plain, drawing many visitors. Calligrapher Mi Fu called it the world's best hill, and poet Luo Binwang chose it as his final resting place.
