Mapo Hall is one of Nigeria's oldest buildings, located in central Ibadan, Oyo State. This colonial city hall, built by the British from 1925 to 1929 for £24,000, was commissioned in 1929 by Sir Creame Thompson. Visible from much of the city, it has hosted many cultural and political events and is a popular landmark.
